Machine Servicing

To ensure that all electrical equipment remains in an optimum working condition it should be inspected and tested by a qualified person on an annual basis.   We recommend that our dry steam technology is serviced every 12 months, depending on usage.  Regular inspections and routine maintenance ensure that machine downtime is kept to a minimum and the machine reliability and performance will always be at the highest level.  Any breakdown repair costs should also be kept to a minimum.

Inspecting the machines on an annual basis also mean that any new modifications can also be carried out to improve the reliability of our machines further still and bring them up to date with newer models.  This type of work however, is carried out at the discretion of the company.

During an annual service visit our engineer will carry out an initial inspection of the machine and check all functions are operating as they should be, making any adjustments deemed necessary.  Any required machine modifications can be completed at this point before the service is carried out.  The machine is then cleaned and fully tested to ensure an optimum operating standard.

 

We offer a One Off Prepaid Annual Service or a choice of two preventative maintenance contracts:

The Silver Contract offers one complete machine service including full machine inspection and one engineer request for repair per year. This is available on any machine from new and less than 3 years old at the start of the contract.  
Our higher level of cover is our more popular maintenance agreement.  The Gold Contract includes an extra engineer request as well as the annual service and full inspection.  It is available for all machines for all machines from new and up to 6 months old.  Please see our service contracts for full details as to what is included with each package.


The Small Print
Maintenance contracts are non-transferable.  A Gold contract can only be applied to a machine at the time of purchase or within the first 6 months.  Machines placed under a Gold Contract after the initial installation may be subject to an engineer inspection.   
Any repair request received after the initial 6 months of the contract period will automatically include the annual service and inspection.
If you have multiple machines on site, all those that require attention must be made available at the same time and in the same location.   
We are unable to provide cover for consumables (hoses & accessories) under the Silver contract. Only hose repairs are covered under the Gold contract, we are not able to provide replacement hoses under any contract.
If there is evidence to suggest misuse of equipment or an untrained operator has been allowed to use the equipment, the maintenance contract is void.  Any resulting repairs will be payable by the Customer.  In these circumstances we will contact the customer to discuss, no repairs will be carried out with us having formally notifying the customer.   Travelling costs and the call out fee will be charged if the machines are not in the location stated at the time of booking and/or they are not accessible to the engineer upon his arrival on site.
PSSR 2000 regulations recommend a full machine service be carried out every 14 months.
